Chamber staff are busy in November, with some professional development, budget development and 2024 planning, Education and Advocacy Committees, our Board meeting, our Wine, Women, and Shopping event, and a few new activities. Based on pre-registrations, and their earlier Grand Opening, we look forward to a busy and dynamic Business After Hours this afternoon at Bobcat of Brantford. See you at 4:30pm!

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Confidence Survey remains open for two weeks. Chamber members who complete the five-minute survey and email “Done” to chamber@brcc.ca will be entered into a draw for Bulldogs tickets. If we reach 75 responses – the threshold where our results will be broken out locally for Brantford-Brant – all responses will also be entered to win their Chamber membership for 2024!

Our travel program with our regional Chamber friends is open and a great option for group travel with other engaged community members in Southern Ontario.

Finally, I want to draw your attention to two advocacy items: the City of Brantford’s Case for the GO Train, and the OCC’s editorial to renew the Billy Bishop Airport Governing Agreement. Both key Transportation issues the Chamber is working towards on your behalf.

See you this evening, or at an upcoming event!

Dave
