This opportunity is perfect for a student who will be returning to school in the fall.

Position Details:

  • Duration: June to August 2026
  • Role: Align and update the Chamber’s website to our brand standards, work with our CRM system, and collaborate with Chamber staff to enhance the member experience.
  • Preference: In-office role at 77 Charlotte Street, Brantford, ON N3T 2W8

About the Chamber:

Since 2019, the Chamber has supported 20 work-integrated learning opportunities for secondary and post-secondary students, engaging in various placement projects. Our partners include:

Community Service Learning Program at Laurier

Semester timeline and details:

  • Mid-Sept 2023-early Dec 2023 – semester time frame
  • Mid-Sept 2023 – placement sign up day – you would hear from a student directly

We are currently seeking placements for the following courses:

  • HS200 OC – Social Determinants of Health – online course (2 hrs/week for 10 weeks, placements with programs serving marginalized populations, employment or literacy supports, newcomers to Canada, health programs)
  • HS208 OC – Autism – online course (1-2 hrs/week for 10 weeks, placements in ASD classrooms or programs)
  • PS275 – Developmental Psychology: Infancy and Childhood (2 hrs/week for 10 weeks, placements with youth ages preschool – age 11)
  • PS276 – Developmental Psychology: Adolescence and Young Adulthood (2 hrs/week for 10 weeks, placements with youth ages 11-25)
  • PS282 OC – Community Psychology – online course (2 hrs/week for 10 weeks, placements with community programs and/or in programs that support marginalized populations
  • PS379 – Exceptional Child, Youth and Adult (2 hrs/week for 10 weeks, opportunities with programs that support individuals with special needs)
  • YC300 – Youth course (4 hrs/week for two semesters – Sept 2023 – April 2024, opportunities with children and youth 0-25 years and tasks in support of the program)
