The Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant is launching the 40 Under 40 Awards program to recognize emerging leaders in the City of Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations of the Grand River, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
The Awards will celebrate exceptional career success, community impact, and a commitment to shaping the future of our local economy. Nominations open in March 2026, featuring categories for Professional and Community Impact, and encouraging self-nominations and peer nominations to shine a light on rising stars in the region.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Who Can Be Nominated: Young professionals or community leaders under 40 making a difference in Brantford-Brant-Six Nations-MCFN.
- Submission: You can nominate others or even yourself via online form on the Chamber’s webpage.
- Selection: A judging panel reviews submissions.
- Celebration: Winners are honored at an event in June, celebrating their achievements.
Submission Criteria:
• Nominees must be 39 years or younger on June 30 in the year the nomination is submitted;
• Nominees must live or work in the City of Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations of the Grand River, or Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
CATEGORIES:
Professional Excellence: Demonstrated career growth, innovation, and measurable contributions to their organization or industry. This may include leadership roles, strategic accomplishments, or the successful launch of new initiatives. Nominees should exemplify values that inspire trust and elevate the business community.
OR:
Community Impact: A clear record of volunteerism, advocacy, mentorship, or civic engagement that strengthens the community and reflects a commitment to social responsibility. Nominees should exemplify values that inspire trust and elevate the business community.
